Social Media Role Overview:
* Be a social media expert within the business and a point of contact for internal stakeholders
* Build close relationships with the ghd global market teams and support and advise on how to activate the global strategy
* Create social media campaign plans for key launches (Limited Editions social media project owner)
* A guardian of Tone of Voice on social which is replicated through all digital touch points
* Oversee all the ghd social accounts to ensure all content/posts are on brand
* Monitor social trends and cascade to markets to activate
* Brief influencers and brand ambassadors to create content for social media channels
* Support the Senior Social Media Manager on social media strategy development across our key channels
* Cascade and implement the strategy across leading markets to ensure we hit our KPI’s
* Build partnerships with social media platforms
Content Creation:
* Create briefs for social assets
* Brief relevant teams and agencies on social content for tutorials, social flat-lays, and any other social assets
* Lead on social media shoots (briefs for product flat lay shoots, briefs for how-to shoots, inputting on social media deliverables, representing social at campaign shoots, managing BTS)
* Identify trending topics and work with Global Assistant Social & Content Manager and Global Social & PR Intern to create reactive content
* Manage post-production of assets
* Develop social media strategies for campaigns and new product launches
* Build the social elements of the global campaign dossiers
* Constantly aim to innovate and excel the campaign dossiers
Short Term Online Brand Activations:
* Own and develop short-term activation plans
* Content creation
* Work closely with the PR team on influencer activations
* Deploy to local markets and support key markets with activation
LinkedIn Management:
* Own the global ghd LinkedIn page calendar planning
* Support the Global Director of Comms and Global Director of People with LinkedIn strategy
* Liaise with local market HR & social teams to plan in local content to the global LinkedIn calendar
* Schedule LinkedIn content
* Report on LinkedIn activity and stats on a quarterly basis
* Work closely with the global HR team on LinkedIn content and planning
PR:
* Work closely with the PR team to advise on influencer partnerships and activations
* Own influencer deliverables with the Global Head of Social and CRM
* Brief the PR team for any social-led activations
* Collaborate with the PR team on any global social events
* Manage social contacts with Educators, Brand Warriors, and Brand Ambassadors for social activations and content
Reporting:
* Liaise with agency on monthly social media reports
* Pull ad-hoc results using Sprinklr
* Conduct post-campaign analysis: liaise with local markets to gather local results
* Support the Senior Social Media Manager to present results in Digital Reviews and Brand Reviews to senior stakeholders
Additional:
* Manage budget with the Senior Social Media Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-5 years of social media experience
* Social media native – deep understanding, particularly Instagram and YouTube
* Creative but also analytical and strategic
* Deep understanding of the full marketing mix and the role social plays
* Confident in monitoring and reporting social KPI’s
* Experience in content creation – pre, mid, and post-production
* In touch with the Gen Z and millennial audience
* Proficient in video and photo editing
* Advanced in using reporting tools
* Experience using community management tools
* Degree level
* Beauty junkie
