The Organisation
Our client is a unique and dynamic membership organisation. They are pivotal in co-ordinating the UK public's response to overseas catastrophes. They raise the alarm to the UK public and set up easy ways to donate, with most of their funds raised over an intensive two-week period following an incident.
They are now looking for a Grants Manager to join them on a full-time basis, for a two year fixed term contract with the potential to extend.

The Role
As a Grants Manager, you will oversee one of our client’s programmes, ensuring the money raised is properly allocated, tracked, and used transparently.
Working closely with key stakeholders, you will maintain clear communication, provide expert analysis on project plans, prepare and deliver briefings and support flexible programming.
You will also review and assess project plans and reports from member charities, ensuring consistency, identifying trends, and verifying data accuracy, while also supporting the review of appeal-related submissions.
Additionally, you will:
1. Travel to European countries to facilitate workshops with members
2. Manage additional team support, including onboarding and training external consultants
3. Work with the Programme Quality, Accountability & Learning Team to ensure timely monitoring and evaluation initiatives
About You
To be considered as a Grants Manager, you will need:
1. Strong experience and understanding of humanitarian response programmes
2. Experience managing web-based databases for programme data and financial management
3. A track record of effective project management in a similar role or sector
4. The ability to prepare reports for a variety of audiences using appropriate tools
5. A sound understanding of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) processes
6. The ability to proactively identify and resolve problems
7. Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to advise and support diverse teams
