Discover more about our company wide benefits and life at GSK on our webpage Life at GSK | GSK In this role you will Lead R&D Digital & Tech Support Team: Establish and manage a team to support R&D priority medicines throughout their late-stage development journey, ensuring alignment with R&D’s most important developmental assets. Build and Maintain Networks: Develop and sustain relationships with R&D contacts, including the R&D Portfolio Team and Hyper-Acceleration Leads, to ensure ongoing alignment and support for priority medicines. Build and grow network of digital and tech contacts across GSK ensuring service awareness and support alignment. Map and Support Digital Processes: Identify and maintain a comprehensive mapping of digital and tech processes and systems, ensuring visibility and support for all products used by R&D priority asset teams. Drive Effective Partnering: Collaborate with R&D Medicines Development Teams (MDTs) to understand and support the digital and tech dependencies of priority assets, ensuring successful milestone delivery and risk mitigation. Develop Service Metrics and Awareness: Create metrics to demonstrate the value of support services, identify customer pain points, and enhance awareness of R&D’s priority medicines within the Digital & Tech team. Manage GCP Inspection Responsibilities: Act as the primary Tech contact for R&D Quality & Risk Management during GCP inspections, ensuring timely responses, providing necessary resources, and representing Tech in inspector interviews and CAPA management. Basic Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (technical or life sciences). Industry Experience: At least three years’ experience in biopharmaceutical R&D with a strong understanding of the clinical development process and decision frameworks. Digital and Tech Proficiency: Passion for and experience with digital and tech enablers, understanding their value to R&D. Stakeholder Management: Extensive experience in stakeholder management, with exceptional customer focus, communication, and collaboration skills. Team Management: Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams within an IT/Tech/Digital environment, with strong networking and influence skills. Problem-Solving and Prioritization: Ability to manage a portfolio of activities, prioritize effectively, and address stakeholder issues using GSK’s digital and tech products, while staying updated on company and industry developments and trends, as well as GSK’s expanding digital and tech solution set. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply: Service Management Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL-based service management practices and service operations, including processes, service delivery, reporting, and continuous improvement. Process Improvement Experience: Experience with Six Sigma/Lean Sigma processes and tools. Strategic and Technical Understanding: Understanding of business area strategic goals, processes, workflows, and the IT tools deployed, along with knowledge of standards, technology, tools, procedures, hardware, software, and services used in information services. Outcome-Driven and Client Management: Ability to drive outcomes and manage client expectations effectively. Communication and Influence: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence others, make technical decisions, and initiate actions.
