The Successful Workshop Engineer / Workshop Fitter / Mechanical Engineer will provide service, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines, pumps, and related products at the workshop in Staffordshire.
The Workshop Engineer / Workshop Fitter / Mechanical Engineer will have experience fitting and servicing industrial mechanical engineering products and systems such as pumps, engines, motors, gearboxes, valves, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, generators, or other similar mechanical engineering products.

Workshop Engineer / Workshop Fitter / Mechanical Engineer Role:
1. Provide service, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines, pumps, and related products at the workshop in Staffordshire.
2. Responsible for inspection and testing of all rental equipment returned to the branch, including fault finding and diagnostic work of pumps, engines, and related ancillary products.
3. Ensure that all pump and engine products are in line with manufacturing specifications before leaving the workshop for delivery.
4. Complete technical documentation as work progresses.
5. Perform other duties as assigned and liaise with various engineering departments.
Workshop Engineer / Workshop Fitter / Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
1. Experience as a workshop engineer, workshop fitter, pump engineer, hydraulic fitter, valve technician, installation engineer, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, service engineer, or similar.
2. Good mechanical engineering background with experience servicing, maintaining, and fitting industrial mechanical engineering products such as pumps, engines, motors, gearboxes, valves, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, generators, or similar.
3. Must have an engineering qualification of NVQ Level or higher.
4. Candidates with a qualification and/or experience within automotive engineering are highly encouraged to apply.
5. Willingness to commute to the workshop in Staffordshire.
