Most of us grow up with 5 senses and cant imagine what its like to lose any one of those.
For some ex-service people, this is their reality. Suddenly their whole way of life is changed, even walking to the shops becomes a huge task.
Fortunately, Blind Veterans are here to help rebuild their lives. But they cant do it alone.
This is where you come in.
Youll take on a daily cleaning routine, getting involved in deep cleaning tasks in all rooms and public areas within the centre. Youll manage laundry, clean and set up function rooms and dispose of waste and recycling. Youll need to understand COSHH, infection control and manual handling practices.
