As a teacher, you will teach individuals or small groups of pupils within or outside the class, prepare lessons and resources, and assess children who have long or short-term learning difficulties. You will work with colleagues to identify individual pupils’ special needs.
Specific duties:
* Assist in maintaining a positive culture encouraging the development of curriculum.
* Prepare and deliver lessons to meet the needs of our pupils.
* Produce and develop high-quality teaching and learning materials using a variety of methods.
* Perform any other duties consistent with the general responsibilities of the post, including cover for absent colleagues.

Qualifications
Essential:
* An appropriate Teacher Education qualification or working towards it.
* Level 5 CPD Numeracy/Literacy or Degree level qualification or working towards.
Desirable:
* Other qualifications relevant to subject specialism.
Experience
Essential:
* Successful teaching experience in this curriculum area, ideally in a variety of settings (Independent schools, PRU’s, colleges).
* Ability to identify and support learners with differing needs.
* Ability to manage diverse groups of learners in varying environments.
* Ability to encourage learners and promote the importance of education.
