RECfinancial are currently recruiting for a dynamic Leicestershire business, as it looks to strengthen its Payroll function in the new year.
Working as a Permanent Payroll Clerk, this will be a part-time position of 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. As the business grows, they are needing to expand the existing Finance team.

Main role of Payroll Clerk
It's a full payroll position where you'll be expected to run your part of the payroll from start to finish, so knowledge of Tax and NI is essential, but training is provided. With a very supportive Payroll Manager and a supporting wider team, this is a great opportunity to develop and grow with the business. You will be working with Sage Line 50 and a Time and Attendance system, processing starters, leavers, pay increases, and the whole payroll process.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Clerk
1. Working with Sage Line 50 and a Time and Attendance system.
2. Maintain the T&A system including coordination of exceptions and associated tasks, alongside the home Administrators.
3. Use the T&A and paperwork systems to keep accurate records of 4-weekly paid employees' attendance, holiday entitlement, and shifts worked.
Skills and experience:
1. Having a positive and professional attitude and the ability to handle all queries with employees.
2. Ideally, previous experience in a similar Payroll role is advantageous.
3. Willingness to learn with excellent attention to detail.
4. Self-disciplined, with good time management skills and the ability to manage and prioritize various tasks.
5. Team player, supportive of departmental colleagues.
On offer is the following:
1. £25,000 - £27,500 DOE.
2. 25 hours per week, 09:30 am - 2:30 pm.
3. NEST pension.
