North Tyneside Council Sport and Leisure service is offering an exciting opportunity to join our high performing team. We are specifically looking to recruit two part time GP referral qualified fitness instructors to work at Tynemouth Pool (28.75 hours) and Hadrian Leisure (18.5 hours).
The main duties of the post are to provide the day-to-day operation of the Contours Fitness/Health Suite as well as supporting us in delivering specialist activities such as the GP Referral programme. Additionally, the duties of this post will include promotion of healthy lifestyle advice, personal fitness assessment, gym inductions, and In-body assessments.
Alongside this, you will be expected to promote and support our sales and memberships processes. Day-to-day duties include cleaning of machines to a high standard, equipment checks, and looking after the health and safety of our users.
Applicants should have excellent customer care skills, provide an efficient, friendly service, and be able to use their initiative. You should be able to work as part of a team and on your own.
