We are looking for registered Pharmacy Technician or a registered Science Manufacturing Technician to join our expanding Aseptic Department.
The candidate will be part of the Aseptic Unit team, this includes Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Science Manufacturing Technicians and Assistants.
You will be based at the Tunbridge Wells Hospital working in a newly re-commissioned Aseptic Unit within the Pharmacy department.
The successful candidate will be integral in the supplying IV SACTs to patients across the trust following GMP and local operating procedures.
The applicant must be a registered Pharmacy Technician or a registered Science Manufacturing Technician.
You must have had experienced working within the aseptic environment preparing Cytotoxic, monoclonal antibodies, TPN or CIVAs products.
You must have the required knowledge and a very understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Experience in the physical and microbiological monitoring of an aseptic environment.
Duties include:
Participating in a range of duties within the aseptic department these include the preparation, checking and manufacturing of aseptically prepared products in accordance with national and local guidelines and standards.
To participate in the Quality Assurance with the deliverance of the Quality Management System according to national, regional and local requirements.
To support the Senior team with the training and supervision of Assistants, TP’s, PTPT’s and trainee SMT’s.
