Known for their thoughtful approach to design, they create high-end residential spaces of the highest design standards that focus on enhancing the well-being, mental health, and everyday living of their clients.
They are now looking for a Senior Interior Designer to lead and develop their interior design function, shaping the department’s future while delivering exceptional projects that prioritise how clients feel and interact with their spaces.
The Opportunity
This is an incredible opportunity for a Senior Interior Designer to take the next step in their career, leading projects, growing a team, and shaping the creative vision of a practice that places human experience at the heart of design.
You’ll be responsible for driving interior design projects from concept to completion, managing client relationships, and collaborating closely with the in-house team of Architects on architecturally led schemes. As the interior design department grows, you’ll also mentor and manage a Junior Interior Designer, with the potential to build and lead a larger team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading high-end residential interior projects from initial concept through to completion.
* Collaborating with Architects on multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring a seamless integration of interior and architectural elements.
* Creating thoughtful, wellbeing-focused designs that enhance the way clients feel and live within their homes.
* Managing client relationships, understanding their needs on a deeper level, and guiding them through the design journey.
* Overseeing the selection of materials, FF&E, finishes, and bespoke joinery to align with the studio’s aesthetic and project requirements.
* Managing and mentoring a Junior Interior Designer, fostering their growth as the department expands.
* Conducting site visits, supplier meetings, and presentations, ensuring smooth project execution.
Who We’re Looking For
* A Senior Interior Designer with experience in high-end residential projects.
* A creative thinker with a passion for designing spaces that enhance wellbeing.
* A strong communicator and client liaison, able to understand and interpret a client’s needs beyond aesthetics.
* A leader with team management experience, comfortable mentoring junior designers.
* Someone with full project lifecycle experience, from concept and space planning to technical drawings and installation.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Revit knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
