The ideal candidate will be confident in managing all routine surgical and medical cases. An interest in orthopaedics is advantageous but not essential. The practice has a high caseload of exotics, so experience in this area is preferred. The candidate should be eager to take on a supportive role, building strong relationships with clients, patients, and the wider team. They will manage a team of 5 vets, supporting them clinically and overseeing the day-to-day running of the practice. People management experience is a plus. This is a full-time position, offering 40 hours per week on a rota basis, with no out-of-hours (OOH) work. About the practice: The successful candidate will work alongside two partners and a friendly team of 5 vets, 5 nurses, two student nurses, and 2 animal care assistants. The practice offers free onsite parking and excellent transport links, including a train station just a couple of minutes walk away. It is also conveniently close to the M1 and only 40 minutes from both East Midlands Airport and Birmingham Airport. This practice is a small animal practice with a high caseload of exotics. The practice is modern and spacious, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and multi-parameter monitoring.
