British Judo is seeking a proactive and organised Performance Manager to lead the operational delivery of our performance projects and support the success of our Performance Pathway & Operations team. This is a key role where your expertise in logistics, administration, and data management will directly impact the progression of athletes and the effectiveness of our high-performance programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day performance operations and ensure alignment with British Judo’s strategy and funding partner requirements (UK Sport & Sport England).
* Manage logistics, data processes, and key programmes such as DiSE (Diploma in Sporting Excellence), TASS (Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme), and Sports Aid.
* Work closely with coaches and stakeholders to ensure athletes receive world-class operational support.
* Lead induction processes for new athletes entering the GB World Class Performance Programme (WCPP).
* Analyse and present performance data to inform decision-making and programme improvements.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, anti-doping, and other key policies.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience in managing operations within a high-performance sports environment.
* Strong knowledge of data analytics and reporting processes.
* Current safeguarding certification and enhanced DBS clearance. Desirable:
* Degree in sports management, business administration, or a related field.
* Experience working with UK Sport and Sport England funding programmes
