About The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join our passionate and driven team based at our Ipswich office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of consolidated statutory accounts and subsidiary statutory accounts under IFRS.
* Become a finance system expert with the Group’s consolidated reporting system, Magnitude and provide support to the wider accounting team.
* Prepare the monthly consolidated cashflow for the UK.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Provide support in the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and CIS tax.
* Assist the Head of Finance and FP&A Manager with reporting and projects.
* Support the annual internal and external audits.
* KPI reporting for future bids and tenders.
* Support the Assistant Financial Accounts with tasks such as fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Be the first point of contact for any technical accounting requirement.
* Other ad-hoc duties as required.
About You:
* Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
* ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified or Part Qualified - ideally from a Practice background
* Experience with reporting under IFRS
* Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
* Independent thinker, keen problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude
