Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Interim Procurement Manager for a 6-month initial engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the purchasing of transmission and distribution equipment and developing a high-level strategic procurement plan. Ideally, the candidate will be based in Cardiff.
Responsibilities
* Spearhead the purchasing of transmission and distribution equipment.
* Develop and deliver a high-level strategic procurement plan.
* Lead and manage procurement activities to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
* Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Essential Skills
* Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, and purchasing.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Experience in project management within the renewables sector.
* Knowledge of transmission and distribution systems.
Work Environment
The role ideally requires the candidate to be based in Cardiff.
