Salary: A competitive salary from £24,880 - £37,320, depending on the experience you can bring. We are looking for a Platform Reconciliations and Controls Administrator to join our Platform Investment Admin function, within the Income and Assets Team. To deliver in this role, you must have a good knowledge of reconciliations processes and the associated regulations. The individual must have a flexible, can-do approach, taking full responsibility for each customer transaction. In this role, you will have responsibility for running and maintaining core team processes including CASS 6 Custody internal and external Reconciliation for all nominee companies, break investigation, ad-hoc matching, distribution processing, bank interest processing. Process management of exceptions arising from reconciliation, this is typically, the result of processing failures that require investigation and a solution outside the standard model. Key Tasks Take responsibility for own development and work towards completing capability matrix measures and actively seek to build a full working knowledge of all ends to end processes of the platform. Work of colleague’s quality assured to ensure that errors are minimised, and the customer receives the best quality service. As required and determined by the knowledge and experience of the job holder, support the development of Platform Centre colleagues by providing structured coaching and mentoring support for less experienced team members to ensure their training experience is enhanced and knowledge is shared across the Platform Centre. Responsible for recommending changes to procedures, process and technology and participating in their implementation to improve the customer experience, reduce risk and maximise efficiency. Keep up to date with the rapid changes to the Platform proposition, regulations, and AEGON’s strategic direction. Experience delivering exceptional customer service at all times to meet the needs of the customers and business. Strong communication (both written and verbal) Collaborates with others in the team and department to deliver the required outcome for the customer and business Strong Attention to detail. Adherence to procedures and process. Financial services experience. A knowledge of reconciliations within Financial Services. Resilience, remaining calm and patient in challenging situations Previous experience of working in a Platform or Mutual Funds environment is desirable. What’s in it for you?
