Base pay range
Hybrid/Remote Working: 3 to 4 days of on-site working per week is required
Hours of work: Up to 40 Hours Per Week
Role information:
1. To ensure the requirements of conventional Health & Safety Legislation are met by compliance with Project procedures.
2. To ensure a plan of key activities and milestones is followed, which consistently represents the programme to be achieved for the package.
3. Support the Project Manager / Package Manager in development, monitoring of progress.
4. To ensure that effective cost control and monitoring is implemented.
5. To provide regular reports on progress, for inclusion in the daily diaries and the project monthly report.
6. To ensure that the work package construction proceeds in accordance with the Project programme whilst meeting the requirements of the Project quality goals and safety case requirements.
7. To manage specifically those areas that represent significant risk to the work package through proactive interface management.
8. To closely liaise with the required stakeholders to ensure all requirements are communicated and agreed.
9. To liaise with sub-contractor and Document Control sections regarding the issue and receipt of drawings and documents.
10. Establish and maintain a tracking register of all documents and drawings and revisions.
11. To receive and issue preliminary drawings, documents and schedules to ensure that the sub-contractor/partners have up to date information for planning and construction purposes.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
1. HND (or equivalent) in engineering / project / construction management or a related field.
2. Membership of a recognised construction-related professional body.
3. Health & Safety Management of Sub-contractors Training.
4. Ability to work collaboratively and integrate into multi-disciplinary teams or work independently.
5. Apply risk assessment and management principles and processes.
6. Broker relationships with stakeholders within and outside the project.
