Senior Legal Counsel

Here at Sciensus a new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our Legal team.
This will be a hybrid working role, coming into the office at least twice a week. The role will be based in our Paddington office.
Essentially, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Legal and the Group Company Secretary with legal matters relating to the provision of our services in the UK and internationally, providing legal advice and assistance to the wider organisation and helping the Department provide an effective, efficient and client/customer focused service.
You will take responsibility for creating, drafting, reviewing, negotiating approval and executing commercial, technical and other contracts including agreements, with our Pharma, Private and NHS clients, when new business is gained and when allocated delegated authority. We are seeking someone that has experience of working in large Healthcare organisations, the Pharmaceutical sector or the NHS.
This all sounds great - What key skills do I need to apply:
* Qualified Lawyer with proven post qualification experience.
* Maintain professional practicing certificate or equivalent.
* Commercial contracts experience gained in a law firm or a commercial organisation.
* Experience of drafting, reviewing, advising and negotiating on agreements and contracts.
* Experience of working in a large Healthcare organisation, the Pharmaceutical sector or the NHS.
* Proven ability to analyse lengthy contractual documents and problem solving skills.
* Displays well developed planning & organisational skills; able to multi-task, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills (written, oral and interpersonal). Excellent written skills are imperative in the compilation of complex legal written documentation.
* Ability to develop and sustain direct line management of the team of specialist staff, by showing mutual respect, honour and integrity, strong professional image and personal credibility.
