We are working with numerous homeless charities which are regularly supplying us with shifts, but we need more people to go on our Ad hoc list!
Pay: £13.50 + holiday pay = £15.13 or £17 umbrella per hour
We are currently seeking locum Project Workers to work on an ad hoc basis across Lambeth, within a variety of homeless hostels.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing support and guidance to individuals experiencing homelessness.
2. Conducting assessments and carrying out support plans.
3. Delivering one-to-one sessions and completing tasks on handover notes.
4. Assisting with clients' care plans alongside key workers and other staff.
5. Shadowing clients to their appointments.
6. Performing light cleaning duties to ensure health and safety standards are met.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate their ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage their workload effectively, and ensure they are always being proactive. You should be a compassionate and empathetic individual who can build positive relationships with clients and work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies. Previous experience working with dual diagnosis is vital. Basic IT skills are required to complete handover notes. Note: Some clients may have pets, mostly dogs, but all have had a risk assessment.
