The Senior Accounts Payable Manager at AllPoints Fibre (APFN) will report into the Head of Financial Operations. In this role you will be responsible for leading the AP team and moulding that team into a best-in-class digital financial operations function.
You will be responsible for ensuring all supplier ledgers are maintained, invoices, approvals and payments are processed, and all relevant reconciliations are carried out in a timely manner (vendors and bank).

This is a Hybrid role with an expectation of attending our Reading office twice per week.
More on the day to day...
* Set up and lead the AP team focused on service excellence across the internal stakeholders and suppliers.
* Own and deliver transformational improvements to our AP systems, processes and policies to improve efficiency and ensure a robust control environment; work with the business to reduce the number of process exceptions.
* Engage across the business and suppliers to land these changes.
* Ensure invoices are processed to the agreed SLAs and in line with the policy and procedures.
* Support business in establishing best purchasing solutions and in developing business processes to support compliance with the policies (e.g. PO raising, etc).
* Ensure the systems supporting AP and other relevant processes and records are kept up to date (e.g. Zone Capture rules, etc), communicate to business.
* Develop a set of SLAs and a set of processes enabling the team to deliver to the SLAs; deliver regular reporting and address processes weaknesses and training shortfalls.
* Business training on best practice for purchasing and systems use.
* Ensure the following is delivered to the SLAs and policies: invoice processing, payment runs, supplier reconciliations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the ERP system (NetSuite); respond promptly to vendor and internal business user inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
* Ensure controls are in place and effectiveness is monitored.
* Assist with audit and other compliance related queries.
* Develop the team.
