Job Description
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to company goals
* Direct sales forecasting activities and performance goals
* Manage sales staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees
* Review market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
* Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products
* Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales
* Meet with key clients to negotiate and close deals
* Collaborate with other heads of department to align company strategies
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Sales or General Sales Manager should have:
* An academic degree in Business, Marketing or related field
* Proven sales experience in the FMCG industry
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a sales team
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
