1:1 Learning Support Assistant – Barnet Primary School – ASAP 2024
We are looking for a calm, nurturing, enthusiastic professional to join our committed support team.
This exciting opportunity is suitable for someone who understands the British National Curriculum and has strong communication skills with pupils, parents and professionals.
If you are skilled at ensuring your 1:1 pupil feels safe, calm and focused, able to suggest individual next steps and willing to make suggestions that feed into planning, we would love to hear from you.
ABOUT YOU:
1. 2:1 or 1st Class Degree
2. Experience working with children – a must
3. Experience working with SEN or ASD – preferred
4. Enthusiastic personality and keenness to work hard
5. Interest in working with children and SEN
6. Calm and consistent in your demeanour
7. Attentive to children’s needs and areas of development
8. Digitally literate and competent
9. Flexible and willing to contribute to the whole school needs
JOB DESCRIPTION: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
10. 1:1 Learning Support Assistant – Reception to Year 6
11. Support a variety of SEN including: Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Global Developmental Delay
12. Assisting with the preparation of learning activities, displays, resources and visual supports
13. ASAP 2024 start
14. Long-term and full-time role
15. Primary School in the London borough of Barnet
16. £85-£100 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities
17. 8:30am – 4:30pm
