Senior Materials Engineer

Currently recruiting for an experienced Materials Engineer to join the team on an exciting Floating Wind project. This is a 12-month contract role based in Kingston.
1. Degree qualified engineer with design experience in materials.
2. Capable of supporting the project team in Bids, FEED, and Projects stages in the definition of the most effective and competitive solutions for design materials and manufacturing as per client and international specifications.
3. Provide technical support to construction/installation teams relevant to all aspects of metallic materials.
4. Support procurement in technical bid evaluation (TBE), review vendor documents, and communicate with clients.
5. Knowledge of welding and corrosion is desirable.
6. Knowledge of the relevant codes and standards pertinent to the offshore industry with a focus on the renewable industry.
7. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
