My client is looking for an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician to join our busy and experienced refurbishment team. This state-of-the-art facility offers a great opportunity for a detailed and driven individual to join a reputable company and develop a career in this exciting specialist enterprise.
What you’ll be doing
As an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out alloy wheel repairs to the highest standard. This will include repairs to all makes and models of alloy wheels and a wide array of finishes. Damage will include scratches, scuffs, and dents. You will prioritize according to business needs and carry out work using cutting-edge equipment and techniques, ensuring the process is completed to an exceptionally high standard.
Responsibilities
1. Repair scratches, scuffs, and dents on alloy wheels of all makes, models, and styles.
2. Spray painting and powder-coating all makes and models of alloys.
3. Refurbish alloy wheels by aqua blasting, sand blasting, chemical paint stripping, labeling, and alloy identification.
4. Work to a high standard within agreed workshop timeframes.
Your experience/skills
1. Experience as a SMART/Alloy Repair Technician or in a similar body shop environment working on vehicle repairs and restoration, with powder-coating and diamond cut alloy repair experience.
2. Enjoy exceeding customer expectations and working to a high standard.
3. Physical and manual dexterity to undertake detailed repair work.
4. Valid, clean UK Driving Licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
Salary and Hours
Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
