Job Summary
We seek a general manager to run our social club Royal British Legion Arborfield. We put on a wide range of events throughout the year, private functions, parties, live bands, pool, snooker, and darts. We are looking for a person with energy and enthusiasm to help grow the business. Bring your ideas to the table and organise your own events that will generate income for the club.
Duties
* Organise staff rotas
* Implement effective team management strategies to enhance productivity and employee satisfaction.
* Maintain inventory control, ordering supplies.
* Develop and execute strategies to improve customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
* Manage events, parties, and private functions.
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the club.
Experience
* Proven experience in a managerial role is an advantage.
* Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership within a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in supervising bar operations.
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Previous bartending experience is essential.
