About the Team: The global Monetization Integrity team ensures TikTok users have a safe experience while viewing advertisements. They work closely with advertisers to create ad policies and manage content review processes. As we continue to add advertising on TikTok, this team is critical in assuring a joyful and creative ads experience for the community. This position will help create TikTok's advertising policies in addition to developing policy processes and training. This individual will work in conjunction with teams like moderation, quality, and vendor operations to make sure these ad (advertising) policies are executed properly. Our ideal candidate has experience performing deep analysis into potential risk areas and is able to navigate ambiguity. Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze policy documents and related materials. - Conduct comprehensive research to support policy development and implementation. - Collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure policies are effectively communicated and understood. - Provide expert advice and support on policy matters relevant to the region. - Monitor and report on policy trends and regulatory changes. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and community organizations. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience working in advertising policy. Experience working adjacent to or within an advertising policy ecosystem. Understanding of the dynamics between users, advertisers, and advertising policies. Deep understanding of the digital landscape and a passion for the TikTok product. Proficiency in English for business purposes and native proficiency in the local language of the region the candidate will be supporting. Extremely clear written and verbal communication. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
