We are currently recruiting for a Managing Director - Development and Regeneration. This is an exciting new post created to shape, develop and lead all commercial and operational aspects of our wholly owned development subsidiary which will deliver on our ambitious plans for customer-centred and progressive approaches to development and regeneration.
We are looking for an inspirational leader with a track record of securing a healthy development pipeline and maximising land led mixed tenure development opportunities. A driven and energetic self-starter, the post-holder will have a passion for building homes and creating communities where people can feel safe and happy. The Managing Director will build strong and trusting internal and external partnerships, develop strategy and engage stakeholders in a shared vision to drive forward the growth aspirations of the Valleys to Coast Group.
As a member of the Executive Team, you will work with the Board and Group Chief Executive to set the strategic direction in line with the purpose, values, and vision. You will also support the Board and Chief Executive in assessing growth options that embed a culture of customer focused, value for money, and continuous improvement that are aligned to the established risk management, budget, and business planning processes.
We are looking for a relevant qualification which evidences the appropriate calibre for this role or substantial relevant experience, an appropriate professional membership e.g. CIOB, RICS, and an ability to demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of development processes related to mixed tenure schemes, including commercial and delivering regeneration and investment into existing homes and wider thriving community initiatives services.
