Primary Teacher (Newly Graduate) - Lambeth Area
Location: Lambeth, Greater London
Type: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Pay Rate: £140.00 - £160.00 a day depending on experience
Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Lambeth area. As a part of the teaching team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher who is passionate about education and eager to contribute to the development of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and informative lessons to primary school students, ensuring they are stimulating and educational.
* Implement an established curriculum without the need for lesson planning.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to help students achieve their best.
* Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school-wide initiatives.
* Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, promoting the development of every student.
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
* Solid knowledge of the UK primary education curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
* DBS on the update service
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of child development principles.
* Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning needs.
* Excellent classroom management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
