Your Role
As a Stock Administrator, you'll be the unsung hero who ensures our supply chain flows seamlessly. You'll dive into discrepancies, investigate their causes, and resolve them swiftly. This role is perfect for someone who loves a fast-paced environment and wants to make a significant impact on our efficiency. Your Responsibilities
1. Investigate Discrepancies: Review and investigate discrepancy reports related to inventory, shipments, and deliveries to identify and resolve issues.
2. Data Entry and Reporting: Accurately record and update discrepancies in the internal system, ensuring all records are complete and up-to-date.
3. Communication: Liaise with internal teams, vendors, and clients to clarify issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure smooth logistics operations.
4. Problem Resolution: Work collaboratively with relevant departments to find solutions to discrepancies and prevent future occurrences.
5. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of discrepancies, actions taken, and resolutions for future reference.
6. Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and suggest improvements to processes or systems that can reduce discrepancies and enhance efficiency.
Your Skills and Experiences
1. Experience: Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, or administrative role is preferred but not required.
2. Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies quickly and maintain high accuracy in data entry.
3. Organisational Skills: Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
4. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Technical Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.), with experience in logistics or warehouse management systems being a plus.
6. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
7. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with various teams while being self-motivated and able to work independently when needed.
