Our Lounge Operations Managers play a pivotal role in the success of our business. Working alongside an Operations Chef, you will manage an area of c.8-10 sites maximum, remaining close to our teams and our customers every day. Your team will be your absolute number 1 priority, spotting amazing talent, celebrating success, and creating a real buzz and a sense of belonging for our team, plus developing great managers and leaders through training, coaching, and mentoring. What you will be responsible for:
* Relentlessly on the hunt to find great talent to join your Lounges at all levels, focusing on building a high-performing and loyal team of Lounge HODs across your sites.
* Ensuring the culture of our Loungers is welcoming, fun, and vibrant—making it a home from home for our customers and team.
* Getting the best out of your team by understanding what makes them tick as individuals and ensuring clear priorities and a strong culture of honest two-way feedback.
* Developing your management/leadership team through clear development plans and providing opportunities to develop their skills.
* Help to plan and execute 14 great shifts across every site every day, ensuring the right people are on the right shifts.
* Ensuring that sites and management teams deliver on our unique Loungers' Commitments, including fair rotas and regular 121 conversations.
* Frequent visits to your sites to engage in service, train, and coach your kitchen teams.
* Developing, planning, and executing all operational aspects for your Lounge caf/bars.
* Finding ways to add your unique footprint and personality to your role and your Lounges.
* Ensuring strong community engagement through outreach activities and social media engagement.
* Being prepared to work shoulder to shoulder with your kitchen teams during busy periods.
* Delivering daily and weekly Ops Manager expectations—ensuring rotas are submitted on time, orders are accepted, and stock takes are completed.
* Collaborating with your Ops peer group to help input into key decisions.
* Feeding new ideas to your Regional Operations Manager for continuous improvement.
* Working in partnership with your Ops Chef to ensure clear alignment against priorities.
* Daily reporting on all aspects of site performance, including shifts, P&Ls, and people management.
* Delivering on our key performance indicators, from customer wait times to Net Promoter Scores and EBITDA.

* You are likely a GM, Operations Manager, or Area/Regional Manager in bars or restaurants.
* You have multi-site hospitality experience across various establishments.
* You balance your time between managing and engaging with the team.
* You have held senior leadership positions in a large turnover setting.
* You are familiar with managing through KPIs and making commercial decisions.
* Your ambition drives you to improve every day.
* You may have experience from either front of house or back of house roles.
* You know how to manage across competing priorities.
