This role will manage the companies IT and Tech spend as a specialist category, with involvement in other categories such as Professional Services.
Role and responsibilities:
* Create relevant category strategies through to the delivery and performance including year on year annualised savings
* Develop IT category plans and strategies to ensure alignment for the group, leveraging suppliers to support local offices
* Support the development of category strategies to a clear and prioritised pipeline of sourcing projects
* Engage, manage and influence senior stakeholders from Director to Board level to ensure buy-in, utilising strong market knowledge
* Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a rounded knowledge of a suppliers performance
* Monitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools and business feedback
* Be a Procurement role model by living company values, consistently delivering to the high standards expected, promoting procurement through relationships
* On top over delivering strategic projects, ensure the business is getting the best service in line with cost efficiency
Experience and requirements:
* Worked for a corporate business or organisation
* Preferably IT/Technology categories or Professional Services, Marketing, Indirect focus
* Broad indirect and corporate services category experience
* Ability to engage, negotiate and influence senior stakeholders up to Director level+
* Strong stakeholder management, using different approaches to type, level and maturity of relationship
* Analytical mindset and have strong communication skills to present ideas to the business
* Worked in a large and cross-functional procurement team
* MCIPS qualification nice to have, but not essential
