Health & Safety Advisor - Sales Support Location: Manchester Salary: Up to £33,000 • Commission Earnings at 0.5% of all New Business Sales Value Job Purpose To provide Health and Safety advice and support to Business Development Managers (BDM) and new and prospective clients of Bright throughout different sectors, showcasing our services to encourage sign-ups. Job Overview The role involves working with BDMs to provide legally compliant advice before, during, and after appointments, aiding deal conversion. This includes advice to new and prospective clients via telephone and email regarding HR and Employment Law compliance. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Continuously update personal knowledge of Health and Safety best practices. Meet performance standards to support BDMs in generating deals without fully resolving matters. Proactively review BDM diaries, complete TLA’s, and provide succinct, commercially-driven guidance. Build relationships with BDMs to increase trust and service usage. Critique prospective clients’ documents to provide useful reports for BDMs. Manage cases to resolution or transition to an advisor while building rapport with clients. Log all advice accurately in the internal system, taking responsibility for ongoing cases. Provide supporting information/documentation to clients as necessary. Refer to company training and legal updates to ensure compliance in advice provided. Record contacts with BDMs for management reporting. Follow internal protocols for managing and escalating cases. Convert new client accounts into the CANs and update the Salesforce system. Attend company sales and advice conferences and training as required. Offer clients options for additional products and make recommendations. Present internal training and external webinars. Contribute to the development of the New Business Support Team. Carry out additional tasks as required by the Management Team. What You Bring to the Team Ability to build and maintain excellent BDM relationships.
