Role Overview: We are seeking a Compliance Manager to lead JATO's global compliance initiatives. In this role, you will design and implement monitoring programs to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards. You will provide guidance and support to our team, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability, to drive compliance excellence. Responsibilities: Implement a comprehensive programme of monitoring and oversight of JATO’s global compliance requirements and provide key expertise in the audit of relevant obligations including tracking remediation recommendations and activities. Ensure compliance with global regulations, including data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and industry-specific standards. Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders on compliance matters. Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance and regulatory requirements. Monitor business activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Chair and minute regular risk management meetings and management of JATO’s global compliance risk register including documenting RAID (risks; assumptions; issues and dependencies). Manage compliance incident response and reporting procedures. Conduct annual reviews and manage JATO company policies. Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure compliance measures and accreditations are in place. Maintain records of compliance activities and ensure they are up to date. Advise on compliance impact assessments and monitor their performance. Handle compliance-related inquiries and investigations. Stay up to date with changes to the laws, rules and regulations that directly affect the JATO Group and its business. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a global business environment. Relevant experience in ISO standards and a wide range of ethics and compliance-related issues, such as ESG, anti-corruption, international trade, anti-trust, internal investigations, and issues and have strong experience in GDPR requirements. Extensive understanding of global compliance regulations, including data protection, AML, and industry-specific standards. Ability to analyse complex compliance issues and provide practical solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Strong project management skills to oversee compliance initiatives and ensure timely completion. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to identify and resolve compliance issues efficiently. Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various departments. Understanding of IT security, data management, and compliance management systems. Relevant certifications such as CCEP, CIPP/E, or CAMS are highly desirable.
