Job Opportunity: Production Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our engineering team as a Production Engineer, working on the world’s first nanopore DNA sequencer. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about new technology.
Responsibilities
1. Support the transfer of new products into manufacturing, focusing on manufacturability and process efficiency.
2. Analyze data to maintain high yields in manufacturing processes.
3. Identify and resolve production issues systematically.
4. Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, specifications, and work instructions.
5. Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, with significant industrial experience, preferably in highly regulated industries like medical or aerospace. Experience in manual and automated manufacturing, pilot line validation, FMEAs, and validation processes for medical devices is desirable. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential.
