Spectrum Geosurvey seeks an enthusiastic Senior Geophysicist to join our team in Lymington.
The successful candidate will lead field teams, acquire geophysical data, and assist with data processing and interpretation. This role offers opportunities for skill development and exposure to various projects in the offshore renewable energy sector.
We are looking for a Senior Geophysicist with a strong background in geology and/or geophysics. The ideal candidate should have experience working onboard vessels undertaking marine survey operations and leading small teams. They should be able to take initiative, problem solve, and troubleshoot data. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

* Maintain effective communication with the office on operational data QC matters and build strong relationships with client representatives.
* Project manage survey projects as necessary.
* Assist in leading data acquisition, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring quality and consistency of field data.
* Liaise with clients and organizations throughout the lifecycle of projects.
* Support Project Managers in technical project matters.
* Take ownership of data archive and data repository management.
* Lead mobilisations, calibrations, and equipment verifications.
