Your Role As a Service Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our services meet the highest regulatory and quality standards. You'll work closely with the Registered Manager, leading a team of passionate care professionals and driving a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will directly impact the well-being and independence of the individuals we support. What You'll Be Doing ? Regulatory Compliance – Support the Registered Manager with CQC registration and inspections. ? Operational Leadership – Lead the service in the Registered Manager's absence. ? Team Management – Inspire, supervise, and develop a high-performing care team. ? Quality Assurance – Ensure compliance with CQC and Health & Safety regulations. ? Person-Centred Care – Oversee care plans, assessments, and risk management. ? Stakeholder Engagement – Liaise with families, professionals, and external partners. ? Crisis & Safeguarding Management – Ensure timely incident reporting and safeguarding procedures. ? Service Development – Contribute to the growth and improvement of our care services. What We're Looking For ? Essential: ?? Experience supervising or managing staff in health or social care. ?? Knowledge of supported living services and care planning. ?? Strong leadership and motivational skills. ?? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. ?? A proactive, solution-focused approach to challenges. ?? Willingness to develop professionally. ? Desirable: ?? Level 3 or above qualification in a healthcare-related subject. ?? Familiarity with Microsoft Office and care management systems.
