We are seeking a talented Junior Project Manager to support the ISS Programme Manager to deliver specific In-Service Support (ISS) projects within the diverse customers. These ISS projects vary in size and complexity from delivering on-site support to build-to-print projects. The ISS Support Manager will be a member of a small team providing In-Service-Support to these diverse customers, this support covers spares, repairs and Field Service Engineering.
This role will have a primary responsibility for managing a range of duties acting as a Project Manager for a number of minor projects and general enquiries received by the ISS Department. Duties include liaising with the company Supply Chain and Production departments on all matters regarding the completion of allocated projects to successful delivery to the customer and liaising with internal departments on the status of their projects. Producing management information for the ISS department in support of Project Reviews.
Responsibilities:

2. Participate in internal and external meetings, contributing your insights to shape the future of our business.
3. Maintain thorough and organised documentation, following our local operating procedures.
4. Liaising with customers on current orders/projects.
Experience needed:
5. A team player mentality, thriving in a collaborative and supportive work environment.
6. Proficiency in MS Office, allowing you to excel in various tasks.
7. A rapid learner with a flexible and adaptable engineering approach, ready to tackle diverse challenges related to challenging engineering problems.
8. An accurate, diligent and methodical approach to work as part of a customer focused team.
9. Understanding of In-Service Support (spares, repairs and tasking).
10. Able to work to tight deadlines and in pressurized situations.
11. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable:
12. Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous
13. Experience in the Naval / Maritime domain would be advantageous.
14. APM or similar.
15. Understanding of processes for working with UK protectively marked material.
16. Experience of managing MoD projects.
17. Experience of IFS or similar.
18. Ability to plan and organise your own work following higher level direction.
19. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the business including suppliers and customers.
