SharePoint Developer - £400 - Outside IR35 - 3 days onsite Ipswich
We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Developer to join a UK law firm on an initial 6 month contract basis. Our Client has over 150 years of heritage, operates across East Anglia, London, and surrounding areas, providing legal services to businesses, institutions, and individuals both domestically and internationally.
Role Overview:
The SharePoint Developer will be part of the Data Systems team within the wider IT Development department, which consists of three sub-teams: Data Systems, Product Delivery, and Product Development. Your primary responsibility will be enhancing the firm's existing SharePoint Online-based Intranet. This project includes addressing high-level requirements such as bug fixes, cosmetic improvements, data flow management, and the development of new web parts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver SharePoint Online solutions for the firm's Intranet, including web part development and M365 integrations.
2. Collaborate with technical specialists and key stakeholders, including the Marketing and Business Development teams, to ensure business needs are met.
3. Work with the Product Delivery and Product Development teams to gather requirements, analyze them, propose solutions, and develop those solutions.
4. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across solution development processes.
5. Provide regular updates to the Development and Data Systems teams, ensuring alignment on processes and improvements.
Key Requirements:
1. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline with a focus on SharePoint Online and M365 solutions.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience developing SharePoint-related solutions.
3. Strong experience with SharePoint Online, including custom web part development, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Logic Apps), and MS Data Gateway.
4. Extensive experience integrating third-party APIs and working with MS Dataverse.
5. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
6. Proven track record in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and issue resolution.
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
8. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
9. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
10. Positive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, with the ability to provide proactive support to users.
Additional Details:
1. On-Site Requirement: 2 days per week on-site in Ipswich.
2. Ability to travel as required.
3. Flexibility to perform additional job-related duties as needed.
