Milton Keynes College have an exciting opportunity for an Inclusion Practitioner to join our Prison Education team at HMP Erlestoke. As a successful Inclusion Practitioner, you will provide inspirational learning support to small groups of learners and on a 1:1 basis. This will require a holistic approach to highlight specific learning needs and improving learner skills. Your focus will be on supporting additional learning needs, particularly in Maths and English, leading to employability outcomes, with effective target setting to meet individual needs.
You will be a passionate, creative and empathetic towards our learners and be able to offer knowledge and guidance to our learners.
As an Inclusion Practitioner, you will be working across the whole prison estate, in all areas where education is delivered.

ABOUT HMP ERLESTOKE
HMP Erlestoke is a Category C prison, holding approximately 444 adult male sentenced offenders. The prison is built on the former grounds of Erlestoke Manor House and has expanded in both offender numbers and intervention programmes. HMP Erlestoke’s focus is firmly fixed on reducing re-offending and preventing future victims of crime by preparing offenders for their release through accredited intervention programmes, skill and vocational based training and education, in a pro social environment.
Courses at HMP Erlestoke include Maths, English, IT, Horticulture, Carpentry, Cleaning and Support Services, Hospitality, Creative Craft, Customer Service, Team Leading, Learning Support and much more.
The education delivery hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 11.15am, 2.00pm - 4.30pm and on Fridays 8.30am - 11.15am.
