We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Cambridge Project Management team as our client base and reputation continues to grow in the region. Following significant developments in life sciences and higher education sectors, you will focus on delivery of a range of project management services for clients across the sector. As a senior project manager there will also be excellent scope for management and mentoring opportunities as well as career progression in line with your impact and delivery within the team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supporting Project Management Directors in delivering business objectives Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships Delivering high quality project management services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our Customer’s requirements in accordance with business procedures Acting as contract administrator, employer’s agent or project manager Producing and presenting to customers Mentoring and coaching junior team members to realise their full potential Preparing bids for services. Sound knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniques Ability to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent and/or Project Manager Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts. Excellent communication skills - both oral and written. Methodical way of thinking and approach to work. Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily. Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work as part of a team and manage teams. Qualifications To be considered for this role you will ideally hold membership to one of the following professional bodies, or be working towards qualification: MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or MAPM (Member of the Association of Project Managers) or MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Building) Gleeds will provide support, guidance and training towards your professional qualifications where required.
