The Role
We are looking for a strong and experienced Regional Head of Compliance based out of our London office. You will have experience of managing a varied portfolio of clients to an exceptional standard. You will have experience of managing and mentoring a team at various technical levels.
You will work closely alongside the National Compliance Team, and report directly to the National Head of Compliance and your Managing Partner in your local office.
Role Objectives
* Review all statutory accounts prepared by team members and ensure that the standards of work produced is of a high quality.
* Responsible for the training and development of junior staff members through mentoring, coaching and providing technical guidance and ensuring the team are receiving timely feedback.
* Manage all aspects of the department including client deadlines, workload/planner, client billing, work in progress, team targets and setting budgets for your department for the year.
* Act as the main point of contact for your clients.
* Attend client meetings, building excellent working relationships and actively highlighting any cross-selling opportunities for the wider Sedulo group.
* Assist with the ongoing review and improvement of internal processes and procedures.
* Keep up to date with technical release.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
* ACA or ACCA Qualified.
* A strong understanding of UK Financial Reporting Standards.
* Experience of working with FRS102 and FRS101.
* Knowledge and experience of UK GAAP and IFRS.
* Working knowledge of CCH software would be an advantage but not essential.
