The Role
Have you got experience in working with children and young people with disabilities or challenging behaviour? Do you have a passion and motivation for making a difference and promoting health and happiness? If so, we would love you to come and join our team of Residential Support Workers.
Kidderminster Short Breaks is part of Worcestershire County Council that delivers children services on behalf of the local authority. We provide specialist day care and overnight respite for children and young people with learning disabilities between the ages of 5-17 from across Worcestershire.
We have an established and skilled team who enjoy making an impact on young people’s lives in Worcestershire. Worcestershire aspires to promote development in our team through training, a supportive leadership team, and aspirations to deliver a service to young people.
We require further staff to support and complement our team and work on our development plans to improve our services with hours varying from 12-30 hours.
As a Residential Support Worker at Kidderminster Short Breaks, you will be ambitious for the young people, helping them achieve their goals and maximize their potential.
You will work directly with the children and young people, building effective relationships with them, their families, and the other professionals involved.
The hours will include mornings, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. Please see the job description and specification for all further information.
