The School and Role
This larger than average-sized primary school graded Good by Ofsted, requires a Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a child with down syndrome who is in a Year 5 class. This role would suit someone who has previously worked with SEND children.
The school has a supportive headteacher and governing body. The encourage the children to understand the positive impact they can have in changing the world around them by showing care, compassion, tolerance and kindness.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
