We are looking for an experienced People and Organisational Development (POD) Manager to join our team. You will be MCIPD qualified or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing a small team of internal and external trainers and consultants to enable the design and delivery of our corporate learning programme to our workforce.
2. Reviewing and developing a comprehensive learning and development (L&D) offer for the council on areas like induction, appraisal, leadership, change management, digital skills, and wider personal and professional development.
3. Creating effective L&D policies, strategies, and impactful OD interventions that align with our council vision for connected communities.
4. Managing and procuring the council’s learning management system and training supplier contracts.
5. Involvement in implementing cross-council projects as allocated.
