Position: Supervisor/Team Leader
Location: Manchester/ Cheshire / Liverpool areas

Salary: Range £29,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
Sponsorship available if you are a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with experience supervising staff.
Contract Type: Full Time
Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week. Hours: Flexible during the week. Some evening or weekend working will be required and some supporting clients and staff holidays may be needed as and when.

Vision Beyond Autism is a Community Interest Company dedicated to improving the opportunities of individuals with Autism and Learning Difficulties. Founded in January 2013, our aspiration is to develop a local supported living and supported work service. We aim to make positive behaviour change for individuals, their families, and carers based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Requirements: If you have an interest in supporting people to improve their quality of life and can demonstrate competence in Applied Behaviour Analysis or PBS as per the Competence Framework (e.g. recognized qualification, or accredited training that meets these standards, such as BCBA, BCaBA, Professional Advanced diploma in PBS, MSc Applied Behaviour Analysis/PBS), we would like to hear from you. This position requires 2 years proven experience of working with people with a diagnosis of autism and learning difficulties who present challenges with behaviour, as well as at least 2 years of experience training tutors in the principles of ABA/PBS.
Full driving licence and use of own vehicle are essential as you will work across clients.
We are looking for: a Supervisor/Team Leader in our Children and Adult Services with experience of working at a senior level in a behaviour support team.
We need you to be: resilient, caring, and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people, with a passion for specialist autism provision and improving the life chances of people with autism and their families.
You will support us in providing a consistent person-centered approach in the delivery of high-quality services to up to 3-5 individuals on the autistic spectrum using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis/Positive Behaviour Support.
You will have experience of working with people with autism at a senior level, working with a variety of different behaviours of concern and needs, enabling individuals to overcome barriers in learning and achievement.
Working as part of the Vision Beyond Autism ABA senior team, you will take professional responsibility for a specialist caseload and work in partnership with Marianne Wooldridge, BCBA Consultant, training your staff team to develop innovative and person-centered approaches regarding Applied Behaviour Analysis programmes.
You will lead and motivate a staff team to work enthusiastically towards identifying and supporting the needs of young people with autism and complex needs, provide support, training, and supervision to the behaviour support team, and give advice on trends and behaviours.
