Role Overview

Responsibilities
1. Support the CMO with the CMO ROC and the Haleon Safety Board.
2. Enhance and support the medical governance system across the global Consumer Healthcare business to ensure compliance with standards.
3. Review and comment on ad hoc risk/benefit and safety assessments; represent Haleon externally as appropriate.
4. Assist in Benefit-Risk Assessments with BUs/Categories and Safety teams, including Consumer Safety Regions & Categories Heads.
5. Partner with the Reg CoP lead to facilitate the Community of Practice for Haleon Medical and Scientific Affairs, sharing best practices, communications, and talent development.
6. Identify synergies and leverage opportunities across Haleon Medical & Scientific Affairs globally, collaborating with various teams.
7. Support external medical issues related to Consumer Healthcare products, developing global positions and providing medical advice worldwide.
8. Lead the R&D trusted ingredient SME team and articulate Haleon’s approach under the quality management system.
9. Represent Haleon on medical and benefit-risk issues with regulatory agencies worldwide; collaborate with QSC on product quality impacts.
