National Express are recruiting an experienced Senior Revenue Operations Manager to join the team, based at our Head Office in Digbeth, Birmingham. The successful candidate will run the day to day management of a portfolio of routes, overseeing all pricing and revenue management, with targeted KPI's and responsibility for delivering the budgeted revenue growth.
What you'll do:
1. Work in association with Blue Yonder to develop 'Ways of Working' for the revenue management team to support transition to next generation technologies.
2. Develop and deliver revenue management team training to ensure incumbents are supported through the change in technologies.
3. Bring support and experience of revenue management system upgrade/transitions to a team where there is little experience.
4. Support technical integration of RMS upgrade by construction and documentation of departmental ways of working, and lead the training program such that the solution is optimal and the team understand their new roles.
5. Line management responsibility for Route Analysts.
6. Be responsible for managing approximately 50% of the network services with a revenue contribution of approximately £130M, while supporting transition from a rules-based pricing solution to an algorithmic solution (a project scoped to deliver an incremental £7m/annum).
7. Ensure successful transition from current practices to algorithmic pricing, most importantly managing the team through this transition with training collateral and supporting documentation.
8. Be responsible for upskilling the entire team to support technical upgrade, conducting or leading all training materials.
9. Evolution of existing reporting requirements to support team training/documentation.
10. Support in defining the three-year plan.
11. Ensure ways of working is successfully deployed within the revenue management function.
12. Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of technology investments on commercial success.
13. Work closely with business functions, supporting with and leading (where relevant) supplier relationships associated with the delivery of revenue optimizing technologies.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in a numerical subject.
2. Proven experience within revenue department function.
3. Experience of leading teams through change - ideally RMS upgrades/deployments.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
6. Experience of constructing, documenting and training departmental processes.
