We are delighted to be looking to recruit an experienced Night Porter to join our great team of professional and dedicated individuals.
The main responsibilities/requirements for the role will be (but not limited to):
1. Clean and prepare all The Inn's public areas for the morning.
2. Ensure all our guests consistently receive the highest levels of customer service, dealing with any queries promptly and efficiently.
3. Maintain security and safety during night-time hours, working within all Health and Safety standards.
4. Provide beverage service to our guests, maximising sales opportunities and assisting with the cleaning and closing of the bar at the end of the night.
5. Ensure the Inn is ready for the following day: setting up for the following day’s events, thorough cleaning of all public areas, toilets and outside, and any other duties as agreed with the duty manager.
6. Answer the telephone, take bookings, and provide guests with information about the hotel’s services and other local information, arranging transport if required.
7. Be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year’s previous experience in a similar role, although full training will be provided, and have a positive and friendly personality to provide our guests with the high levels of service that are expected.
