Broadcast & Distribution - Senior Manager Based: Virginia Water, UK. 3 days a week onsite. The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, Legends Tour, Challenge Tour and G4D Tour (golf for the disabled). We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, run golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup. The Role: Join our dynamic team at European Tour Productions, where you'll be at the heart of the action in the broadcast, content, and distribution facets of our business. Reporting to the Group Director of Broadcast & Media Rights, this exciting role involves collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including broadcast partners, our distribution partner IMG, other golf rights holders, tournament operation teams, and production teams, across some of the biggest events in golf. This position is planned for Senior Manager level, however we also encourage those who see themselves at the manager level to apply. As a company we are open to the right person with the right experience, as we provide ample opportunities for growth and development within the business Key Responsibilities As a key member of our Broadcast Team, you'll focus on distribution while also working on general broadcast and production projects. You'll manage our DP World Tour and Ryder Cup broadcast agreements, media rights proposals, rights matrices, and some contract negotiations. You'll play a crucial role in strategic discussions about our distribution strategy for DP World Tour and Ryder Cup Official Platforms, managing all reserved rights. Supporting the Group Director of Broadcast & Media Rights, you'll explore new business opportunities around our reserved rights and content distribution. You'll assist in managing broadcaster communications, their access to content and our news service. You'll also manage the technical distribution relationship with IMG and our distribution supplier, and contribute to future planning and strategy in this area. In addition, at selected DP World Tour tournaments, you'll handle client and project management for the commercial and broadcast elements of ETP’s host TV production. This involves working closely with the Live production team, production management/accountant team, on-site broadcasters, Tournament Director, Championship Director/Third-party promoters, Press Officers, Content team, and Player Relations team. You'll lead and assist with specific broadcast/production projects as needed, such as project-managing third-party promoted production agreements and liaising with our Tournament Business teams on promoter agreements. Knowledge, Skills and experience To succeed in this role, you'll need experience in distribution/media rights management and the production/broadcast industry. Attention to detail for contract management is vital, and experience in the sports industry is very helpful. You'll also need account/client management experience, excellent Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong presentation and communication skills. Building and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally is crucial. International travel will be part of the role, with expectations to be on-site for approximately 6-10 events a year.
