Supporting the work of the Jeweller since 2006
About Us
We are a London based fashion accessory brand specialising in jewellery and gifting, operating across multiple sales channels. Our business includes two stand alone stores, a thriving e-commerce platform, and a strong wholesale presence with department stores and independent retailers. We introduce seasonal collections twice a year and work within a hybrid stock model, balancing forward ordering with in-season trading. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a commercially driven and analytical Merchandiser to join our team and play a key role in optimizing our product strategy across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with brand objectives across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce.
2. Conduct in-depth sales and trend analysis to optimize product ranges and stock allocation.
3. Collaborate closely with the Operations and Design Teams to forecast demand and plan seasonal assortments.
4. Identify opportunities to maximize revenue, reduce markdown risk, and enhance margin performance.
Inventory & Stock Management
1. Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure availability while minimizing overstock and markdown exposure.
2. Oversee allocations and replenishment strategies across stores, concessions, and online platforms.
3. Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient stock movement and fulfilment.
4. Drive best practices in inventory planning, improving stock turn and reducing waste.
Wholesale & Marketplace Support
1. Partner with the Sales team to understand wholesale client needs and align collections accordingly.
2. Develop tailored product assortments and delivery schedules for key wholesale accounts.
3. Support marketplace operations with inventory planning and performance analysis.
4. Analyze and report on wholesale performance, providing insights to drive future collection planning.
Commercial Analysis & Reporting
1. Regularly review performance across all channels, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
2. Track key performance metrics such as sell-through rates, margin, and stock turnover to inform decision-making.
3. Identify growth opportunities in underperforming categories and suggest action plans.
4. Present merchandising reports to stakeholders, offering strategic guidance based on commercial data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
1. Act as a key link between Buying, Design, Sales, and Operations to ensure a cohesive product and stock strategy.
2. Support promotional campaigns and key trading periods with effective stock planning and allocation.
3. Communicate merchandising plans and performance updates to internal teams and external partners.
About You
1. Proven experience as a Merchandiser in fashion or accessories, ideally within a multi-channel or wholesale-driven business.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into strategic actions.
3. Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
4. Commercially focused with a strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer demand, and retail performance metrics.
5. Proficient in merchandising systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP software is an advantage.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
What We Offer
1. A creative and collaborative work environment in the heart of London.
2. The opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing and ambitious brand.
3. Competitive salary and benefits package, including employee discounts and professional development opportunities.
