This role, as Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and development of a team of Field based Business Development Managers. Utilising your Sales expertise and Leadership skills to increase the Sales performance by building a highly effective, and successful sales region in line with company vision and values. Key duties Overall accountability for sales revenue performance verses target for the Region Strong motivated and hands on leader who can drive Sales Performance and remains close to the detail of all key sales metrics Quickly assess and understand the sales process that is in place, identifying areas of strength and any potential opportunities to enhance sales performance Ensure that all BDMs meet and exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes Work with the internal Telemarketing Management and Director to review appointment levels and quality, ensuring a balanced view of inside and outside sales performance Work with the UKI Sales Director to review performance on daily, weekly, monthly basis Recruit, train, and develop talent. Ensure there is a pipeline of qualified candidates for future staffing needs. Manage a comprehensive forecast of revenue and profitability and other key performance indicators and ensures timely presentation to executives of summary information at pre-determined dates Optimise the effectiveness of the Companys investments in sales and marketing programs and initiatives. Develop and implement approved sales incentive programs for BDMs Monitor, manage and report on all Sales KPIs and report on Sales Performance on a daily, weekly, monthly basis Applicants must be willing to travel across Scotland and Northern Ireland as well as, travel to the Manchester global head office for training and meetings. What you bring to the team: Proven track record of leading and motivating a field sales team to hit and exceed sales targets within a B2B sector Proven experience in leading high performing sales teams ideally with exposure of selling into the SME market Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, manage and monitor sales processes and pipeline Highly numerate with the ability to quickly understand the key figures that impact sales performance A strong communicator who can inspire and engage a team An ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and can adapt quickly to change A full driving licence is essential, as regular travel is an essential part of the role Salesforce knowledge advantageous Salary and Benefits: Up to £70,000 Basic Quarterly Bonuses Annual performance bonus Company Car (Electric) or Car Allowance 25 days holiday plus bank holidays your birthday off, with an increase to your holidays after 2 years service.
